Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A woman crashed her vehicle near Rochester’s Apache Mall early Tuesday, one of several motorists to become a victim of slick roads.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 20-year-old Jamie Wells of Sleepy Eye was on the entrance ramp to Highway 52 around 2:45 AM when she lost control and crashed head-on into the median barrier. The State Patrol says she was taken to St Marys Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

There was a fatal traffic wreck in central Minnesota Monday.

The State Patrol says two vehicles collided in Benson around 12:45 PM. A passenger in one of the vehicles was killed. The victim was an 87-year-old man from Murdock. The vehicle he was in was driven by an 81-year-old woman from Murdock, who suffered non-life threatening injuries. The other driver was not hurt. No names have been released yet.

There was another fatal wreck in central Minnesota Friday.
