Following the barrage of severe thunderstorms, frog-strangling rain, tornado warnings for eastern Olmsted and Winona counties in southeast Minnesota, sky watchers and citizens were treated to a glorious show at sunset.

In addition, at the height of the severe weather coverage many local area residents were ready with the cell phone photography to 'funnel back' to local media outlets to display on their Facebook pages, and even enhance their LIVE severe weather coverage. Multiple sets of eyes are certainly better in cases like what occurred Weds evening.

Former TV, local Meteorologist Randy Brock even had the 'catbird-seat' for a funnel cloud & tornado he recorded on his device, along with providing some expert commentary. Twitter & Facebook were buzzing & blowing-up during the early evening coverage.

As things were winding down around sunset I snapped these photo's with my Canon. The only words I could muster were "Wicked, Cool Sunset Glow".
