A Delta Airlines flight headed from Minneapolis to Los Angeles was forced to return to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport Wednesday evening (December 28) after a man and woman started acting unruly during the flight.

The flight originally took off at 6:20 p.m., according to an airline spokesperson, but turned around at approximately 7:35 p.m. after a couple on the flight became disruptive and refused to listen to the instructions of the flight crew.

Once the plane had landed in Minneapolis, airport police boarded to assess and handle the situation. This video captured the police interacting with the couple:

At first, the couple seems to be cooperating with the officers, but then things turn more physical. Finally, the couple was subdued, handcuffed and led out of the plane, much to the delight of the rest of the passengers.

The couple was interviewed by local and federal law enforcement. There's no word at this point as to whether they are still in custody or what charges they may face.
