Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Some more changes are expected Saturday involving Rochester’s 18th Ave NW construction project.

The city Public Works Dept. has this update:

The 18th Ave/41st St intersection will reopen to traffic

18th Ave will be closed from the 48th St roundabout south to the Rochester Assembly Church south entrance. This section of the roadway is being completely closed to through traffic in order to accommodate the replacement of underground utilities within the street.

18th Ave will remain closed to through traffic between 37th and 41st streets. Lane restrictions and shifting and uneven road surfaces are to be expected while this section of the road is under construction.

The posted detour will route traffic along West River Parkway between 37th and 55th streets, similar to what was in place earlier this year.

The department says the project has an anticipated completion date of November 13.
