Things got weird. Quickly.

When I first picked up the phone and began realizing that Lzzy Hale of Halestorm would be on the other end of the line, I immediately suffered intense heart palpitations. Medical issues aside, Lzzy was kind enough to break the ice with a mutual love of Pennsylvania.

You see, I'm originally from Pittsburgh.

Here's a radio secret: a lot of the time we have no idea how to break the ice when it comes to interviews. I also wanted to do something fun with Lzzy, that she probably doesn't get to do often. I figured we'd play Two Truths And A Lie to kill some time.

Here's how it works

  • One person makes three statements.
  • Two are true, and one is a lie.
  • The other player has to guess which one is the lie.

You won't believe Lzzy's statements!

All joking aside, it's cool to see that she's really passionate about a lot of things. Obviously, she's passionate about being an awesome role model for girls.

If you're not coming to tomorrow's show at Mayo Civic Center, you're missing out! In fact, Lzzy has a threat for all of you.

She told me specifically that she will "find you" and that she "wears seven-inch heels" which you don't want to be on the wrong end of. See you guys at the show tomorrow!
