The back and forth between Tommy Lee and his 22 year-old son Brandon continues to play out over social media, with the latter offering to pay for his father's treatment to get sober. Posting to his official Instagram page, the eldest offspring of Tommy and Pamela Anderson wrote that he "would like to offer to pay" for the retired Motley Crue drummer's entry into rehab.

"I thank my Dad for paying for my treatment," Brandon posted. "It's the best thing he's ever done for me. Today I am almost two years sober. Every day that goes by I feel ever more grateful. My clear mind has allowed me to do a lot with this time. So much so that I would like to offer to pay for his treatment."

Brandon's offering comes in the wake of Lee's Twitter post this past Tuesday (June 19) where he tallied the cost of sending his son to rehab:

The latest between the two came over the weekend when Lee posted a picture of himself and his father on social media with a caption referencing how difficult it is to be a dad, leading Brandon to respond with a reminder of what happened the last time he shared family insights on social media, posting the since deleted footage of Lee knocked unconscious, ostensibly at his own hands.

As the first child between the divorced couple of Lee and Anderson, Brandon attained a bit of notoriety back in 1997 on the Motley Crue reunion album Generation Swine where Tommy performed the closing track, a piano ballad named after his son, who was then less than a year old.
