Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Temperatures were around 10 below Friday morning when a car ended up in Rochester’s Silver Lake.

The mishap happened around 8:00 AM on the southwest side of the lake where there is a curve in the road.

The car ended up on the ice, several feet from shore. The front tires broke the ice but the car apparently suffered no damage. The woman driving the car was able to get to shore and stayed with a passing motorist until police and a tow truck showed up.
