There are some great holiday light displays here in Minnesota, and this incredible tour is only an hour away from Rochester!

It's one of the mainstays of the holiday season-- getting all bundled up and heading out with the family to check out some way-cool holiday light displays. And while it seems like just about every house has SOME sort of decorations set up these days, THIS tour is guaranteed to get everyone oohing and ahhing this Christmas.

According to OnlyInYourState.com, Minnesota's best holiday light displays are location in the Twin Cities. And THIS tour outlines seven different homes, in locations from St. Paul to Shakopee, that all have some incredible displays set up.

The tour starts in Andover for two locations, and then heads you west to New Hope, Plymouth and Minnetrista. You then check out a display in Shakopee before heading back to St. Paul. (You can read about the entire tour HERE.)

And, of course, downtown St. Paul's Rice Park is always worth checking out during the holiday season. (I'm biased, of course, since that's where I asked my wife, Katie, to marry me on Christmas Eve...)

Where's YOUR favorite holiday light display?
