A band of light snow moved through the area last night creating dangerous road conditions in parts of our listening area this morning.

The pink on the map just east of Rochester represents fully covered roads and the blue indicates partially covered roads. Please use extra caution as you travel this morning.

MnDOT updates their road reports, as conditions change, so make sure to check their website for the latest info.

Last year, MnDOT installed cameras on their plows, which actually give you a live look at the roads their clearing. You can see those here. 

The wind could create visibility issues today as the temp climbs into the low to mid 30s.
