Forget about the talk of an injured Teddy Bridgewater! He proved yesterday that he's ready to play and get into a full-season routine.

According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, during yesterday's 23-10 victory over the San Diego Chargers, "Bridgewater completed 12 of 16 passes for 161 yards and a touchdown before transitioning to cheerleader in chief on the sidelines, his game-day missions complete until the Sept. 11 regular-season opener at Tennessee." He certainly helped the Vikings christen US Bank Stadium as their own!

So, it looks like Bridgewater's sidelined status against Seattle last week was only temporary. Coach Mike Zimmer is optimistic after his performance yesterday, "I told you there was nothing to worry about; sometimes you’ve just got to trust me.” Who knows why the decision to hold Teddy back was made, but from a health standpoint, it seems it was a wise one - given yesterday's performance.

What do you think? Is Teddy back, for real?
