Stewartville Man Accused of Assaulting Girlfriend
Stewartville, MN(KROC AM News) - A Stewartville area man was arrested Thursday after authorities say he assaulted and threatened his girlfriend with a gun.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the woman around 10 a.m. while she was at a Stewartville bar.
The woman says the ordeal began Thursday morning at their residence when 44-year-old Terry Cowden assaulted her and then forced her to go with him as he drove to La Crosse. When they returned and went to the Stewartville bar, Cowden pushed her against a wall and a witness intervened. Cowden left and was later located at arrested.
