Recently in a newspaper article I saw this topic being talked about so I thought I would open this can of worms here!

Honestly, it always drives me nuts to see other people sitting at a full-blown 'rock show' in a theater or amphitheater setting. Down By The Riverside?  How about you?

OK, I get it. Some folks may have physical limitations that prevents them from standing for long periods of time, and that's OK. Some may prefer to sit....period; even at a high-energy show. (just don't ask me to sit) Some shows, based on the music style, may be more conducive to sitting than standing, and vice-versa. (Presentation Hall verses The Arena, verses The Myth lets say?)

Have you ever been asked to be seated in a concert venue? How does that make you feel? Have you asked a tall person to sit down or step aside so that you can get a view? Or, do you just bite-the-bullet and make the best of it?

Back to my original point. Is there, or should there be 'Concert Etiquette'? This topic may make for some lively debate. Bottom line.....fight it out here verses in the aisle at an opulent theater somewhere. I can find some humor in this, can you? (NEXT WEEK lets talk mosh-pit etiquette!)
