No one ever said divorce was easy. In my opinion, it just plain sucks.

According to Blabbermouth, Slash of Guns N' Roses is claiming that he was never technically married to Perla Ferrar, and therefore she is entitled to nothing.

TMZ escalated things by reporting, "Slash insists that they were never properly married because Perla's one-month marriage to Carlos Marty in 1993 didn't actually end as divorce documents weren't properly filed. The mistake was uncovered when Slash and Perla applied for dual citizenship for their son Cash." So, the plot definitely has thickened.

While Perla insists that she has "no idea why" this is just coming to light, the fact remains: this whole thing about to get a lot stickier.

According to Blabbermouth, "Ferrar, however, claims that a judge finalized her divorce from Marty in 2009, making it retroactive to 1994. Ferrar may have a legal advantage because there is a law that addresses the issue of "putative spouses," meaning that if people have a reasonable belief they are married, a judge can decide to legally divide their assets." So, a judge can possibly throw this whole thing out the window.

Regardless of legality and timelines, Perla isn't entitled to any of the $117 million Slash supposedly took home so far on the Not In This Lifetime tour.
