Skillet Is Headed To Rochester This Summer
Fresh off of the release of their latest CD Unleashed Beyond, Skillet is plotting a tour that includes a stop in Rochester.
Mark your calendars for July 24th! Skillet and Red Sun Rising are taking over the Olmsted County Fair at 8 pm. Tickets are only $20 a pop when you purchase between May 24th - 31st! Advanced tickets are $30, and they're $40 at the door.
According to a press release, you also have this option: "Tickets are available online at JadePresents.com, by phone at (866) 300-8300, or in person at the following locations: Perkins Restaurant & Bakery (432 16th Avenue NW & 1818 S Broadway), ONB Bank (975 34th Avenue NW & 120 Elton Hills Drive NW #100), or at the Mayo Civic Center box office* (Monday-Friday, 10 A.M. – 5:30 P.M. and Saturday 10 A.M. – 2 P.M.) *CASH ONLY"
A press release explains of Skillet, "The group’s ninth full-length album, UNLEASHED, sees them turn everything up louder, amplifying all aspects of their signature hypnotic sound. Ultimately, this is Skillet at their most potent, pure, and powerful."
Plus, they're basically hometown kids! They're from Wisconsin if you didn't already know.
Some of you know Red Sun Rising from an amazing set at Northern Invasion earlier this month, but if you don't know them - you're in for a treat! A press release states, "The work ethic is a trait Red Sun Rising embrace. Through tireless gigging, they built up an impressive local fan base, soon attracting the attention of multiple labels. Razor & Tie rushed to Akron in the Fall of 2014 and signed the band following a sold-out hometown show. Polyester Zeal firmly establishes Red Sun Rising’s place in rock."
You're in for a rockin' night with two insanely talented bands! See you there!
