Short Film Festival Is This Saturday In Rochester

Attention film buffs…there’s a new, cool event in Rochester this Saturday. The Apex Short Film & Music Video Festival takes place at C4’s Creative Salon (324 1^st Ave SW) in Rochester. Doors open at 1pm and the event runs until about 10pm. A $10 pass will get you unlimited access to exclusive, quality short films and music videos. People that purchase a pass can come and go throughout the day.

Some of the filmmakers are local, some from the Upper Midwest and others from around the world. There’s even a Q&A panel with some of the filmmakers who will attend the Apex.

Over 200 entries were submitted for this event and organizers pared the list down to just over 50. The movies/videos range in length from 1-minute to a half-hour but most are around 10-minutes each. Because they received so many entries, Apex Fest organizers hope to have another event sometime next Spring.
