Please slow down.

A deputy with the Dallas County Sheriff's Office in Iowa was working a routine traffic crash during a period of blowing snow on January 28th. In this unbelievable video, you can see the deputy get hit by a car that was traveling too fast and actually went around a fire truck because they couldn't stop.

One pedestrian and another deputy were narrowly missed, and the deputy that was hit had some apparent minor injuries, according to the Dallas County Sheriff's Office Facebook Page.

You can see the shocking video for yourself below:

It is another reminder for us to slow down when the snow is falling, and also slow down when emergency vehicles are trying to help others in need. It is isn't hard to do. Just like the Sheriff's Office said; This video could have been a whole lot worse.
