Austin, MN (KROC-AM News) - An Austin area man has entered into a plea agreement in a drug overdose case.

21-year-old Jordan Flugum today admitted to a second degree manslaughter charge for supplying a fatal dose of heroin to a 20-year-old Austin man who died of a drug overdose in March of last year. The criminal complaint against Flugum alleges he accepted a 55 inch high-def flat screen TV as payment for the drugs.

The young man’s mother found him dead in his bedroom at her home the following day. An autopsy determined his death was caused by “acute heroin and methamphetamine toxicity.”

A sentencing hearing for Flugum has been scheduled on June 1st at the Mower County Courthouse.
