Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester Police are on the lookout for a 19-year-old man suspected of brandishing a handgun while attempting to collect a supposed $20 dollar drug debt.

Police Lieutenant Mike Sadauskis says the man allegedly drove up next to two young men walking along the 1300 block of Marion Road Southeast around 9 o’clock last night and demanded to speak to one of them. The 18-year-old man told officers the 19-year-old claims he owes him money, but he denies that is the case.

Eventually, a 21-year-old friend of the 18-year-old approached the car and told police the 19-year-old responded by pointing a gun at him while demanding payment of the supposed debt. The confrontation ended without further incident and the 18-year-old called 911 to report after he and the 21-year-old walked away from the car.
