Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A man described as a significant drug dealer in the Rochester area has been busted.

Arraigned on racketeering and drug charges Tuesday was 25-year-old Vilay Phayvanh. He is accused of distributing and selling marijuana and cocaine in the city between Dec 2014 until he was busted.

Phayvanh told investigators the drugs came from California. Phayvanh told officers he used some of his drug money to buy the White Wing Auto Appearance Center in Rochester for $40,000. He says he owned the business for about a year and then sold it.

The FBI assisted Rochester police in the investigation but it's not known if Phayvanh will face federal charges
