Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - One arrest has been made and Rochester police continue looking for other suspects in an armed robbery that happened last week.

A 23-year-old man told police he was at a gathering early Friday at a residence in the 4900 block of 19th avenue northwest where there were several people.

Police Capt. John Sherwin says at some point, an argument broke out and one of those at the party pointed a rifle at the victim. Others also assaulted the victim and then took his money, said to be several hundred dollars.

Arrested Saturday as one of the suspects was 24-year-old Emanuel Alfred. Sherwin says he is suspected of being the person with the gun.

Alfred pleaded guilty in 2010 to an attempted murder charge. He was 16 at the time and was accused of shooting another man who owed him money. Alfred was given a stayed prison term of 11 years and placed on probation for up to 20 years.
