Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man is accused of sharing some pornographic photographs and videos of a woman without permission.

The victim contacted the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office after becoming aware of what 30-year-old Brandon Gergen had done in December.

An investigator interviewed three people who said they had received the photos and videos. The criminal complaint says Gergen told one of the recipients he wanted to “slander” the victim. The complaint says he admitted to the investigator he had sent some of the photos and videos.

According to the investigator, Gergen “expressed disbelief” that “it was a crime to make a porn video and show your friends.” He is now facing four felonies.

The complaint says he is currently in prison so a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
