If you know me at all, you know that I find creepy things awesome.

I set out on a mission this weekend. That mission was to take awesome photos of Rochester's countryside consumed by fog. Simple, right? It was foggy for a while, so I didn't think it'd be hard to accomplish. Did anyone else notice that the area looked like a horror movie - specifically a Stephen King movie - this weekend!?

Seriously, this doesn't happen that often. I was more than happy to snap these photos!

YOU COULD TAKE THAT LONE TREE PHOTO AND MAKE A BOOK COVER OUT OF IT!

Wondering what causes the foggy effect? Simply put, fog is really a cloud on the ground. The ground temperature itself is actually warmer than the air at that point, so fog forms. We had temperatures just cool enough to keep things moist too, so that made for an especially long bought of it.

Hope you guys were safe on the roads! Did you catch any cool fog pictures?
