Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester church was hit by a burglar who made off with gift cards worth about $2500.

The burglary happened late Sunday night/early Monday at Resurrection Catholic Church near Mayo High School.

Police say it appeared to be a “professional job” as the thief or thieves tried to crack open a safe without luck.

It appears entry was gained through a door that was forced open.
