Owl Says ‘Hello’ to Minnesota Officer on His Squad Car
This is almost too cute for me to even function! Have you seen this owl’s reaction to a squad car?
It all started on February 7th, when Officer Richard LeDoux, was on patrol. Someone flagged him down to report an injured owl in Duluth, and he was called to investigate. WBAY reports, thankfully, that said owl wasn’t quite so “injured” after all!
Here’s the owl… just chillin’ in the night like they do… on the officer’s squad car.
This owl flew onto the hood of a squad car, after the officer was flagged down to check on it in the road. Happy to report it flew away! pic.twitter.com/Brmjnpyxmx

I mean, could it be any cuter? For those wondering, this is a barred owl and they are common in Minnesota. They aren’t usually white, but this one has that color in the photo. Moments after this photo was taken, the owl happily flew away just fine.
No word on the possibility of whether a different injured owl in the area was found, though. So far, so good.
