Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)  - The Rochester Police Department is providing public notice of a change of address for a Level 3 sex offender already living in the community. The notice says 42-year-old Kevin Tyrone Williams has registered his new address as a residence in the 1900 block of 8 ½ Street Southeast in Rochester. Williams was previously listed as homeless and living in the vicinity of 41st Street Northwest.
Williams was released from prison last July after serving a sentence or a felony domestic assault conviction in 2015. His lengthy criminal history also has cases where the charges against him included allegations of sexual assault and the use of guns, force, and threats to gain compliance from the victim.

The Police Department is not planning to hold another community notification concerning Williams, but officials will be available to answer questions about his case during the notification meeting for another Level 3 offender on Wednesday. The meeting concerning a move by Jeremy Franken is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. tomorrow at the Police Department’s North Precinct along West River Parkway.
