Voter turnout is expected to be pretty high here in Minnesota for Tuesday's midterm election. Heck, many Minnesotans have already voted early-- and more probably will this weekend.

(And, speaking of early voting, if YOU want to vote early in Olmsted County, you still can-- the Early Voting Office at Graham Park, off 3rd Avenue, will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday--  get the details HERE.)

But if you're going to vote on Tuesday-- like I am-- but you need a ride to your polling place, you're in luck. That's because Rochester Public Transit, the company that runs the public buses here in the Med City, has announced they're offering free rides on Tuesday.

Free rides to go vote, that is. According to the RPT website, "On Nov. 6, simply let the driver know that you are going to vote (or returning from voting), and no fare will be charged for the trip," the site says.

Although, you might want to check ahead, as the site also says it won't be able to offer free rides to EVERY polling place in Rochester. And, you might have to walk a bit from where the bus drops you off to your actual polling place (you can check all of RPT's routes HERE), but it's still a nice gesture to make sure everyone can get out and cast their ballot.

(And if you don't know where you go to vote, you can find out HERE.)
