Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Olmsted County deputies were kept busy over the holiday weekend dealing with several traffic wrecks. Two happened Sunday about half an hour apart.

A motorcycle driven by 61-year-old Mark Altwegg crashed while rounding a curve on Viola Rd east of Century High School. He and his passenger - 61-year-old Cathleen Altwegg - were injured.

The other wreck happened on County Rd 1 and involved a rural Rochester teenager. A vehicle driven by 16-year-old Erin Clark left the roadway, went into the ditch, hit a field approach and flew about 60 feet. The teen was wearing a seatbelt and was not ejected.

A man was hurt Monday when the car he was riding in went through a stop sign and collided with another vehicle. The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office says the wreck happened at the intersection of County Rd 11 and Collegeview Rd. 25-year-old Victor Rosalez-Rosalez was ejected. The driver of the car he was in was not injured. The other vehicle was driven by 61-year-old Debbie Michel of Rochester.
