Pull your 84 jerseys out! The freak, Randy Moss, is headed to Canton, Ohio this weekend to be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame. Some people loved him, others weren't big fans of the player who so infamously was quoted as saying, "I play when I want to play." He will forever be linked to 'mooning' Green Bay fans, but also for blowing the top off the Metrodome. Moss was taken with the 21st pick in the 1998 NFL draft out of Marshall, and he didn't seem to forget any of those first 20 teams that passed on him either. In honor of Randy going into Canton this weekend here are my Top-5 Randy Moss moments, and not all of them are from the football field.

5. 1998 Week 5 Monday Night Football vs. Green Bay - Five games into his NFL career, Moss was already a playmaker. In my opinion there is no moment that better defined his arrival as the league’s premier deep threat than that breakout prime-time performance against the two-time reigning NFC champion and bitter rival Green Bay Packers. Moss had 5 catches for 190 yards and 2 TD's. Oh ya the purple won the game too, 37-24. Moss told Fox Sports in an interview about being inducted into Canton that “Seeing Randall Cunningham smile, seeing him energetic...was just a great feeling.”

4. 2004 NFC Wildcard Playoff Game vs. Green Bay - Moss came into the game being bothered by an ankle injury, but the 'superfreak' still put on a show that will never be forgotten by Vikings fans, or Packers CB Al Harris. In the game Moss only had 4 catches for 70 yards, but he had two touchdowns and one TD celebration that has become one of the most iconic moments in Vikings history. [That moment can be found about 2:22 into the NFL highlight package below] The Vikings had controlled most of the game, but Brett Favre had the Packers back within seven points early in the fourth quarter, and you could feel the momentum swinging Green Bay’s direction. The Vikings started driving, though, and with just over 10 minutes remaining, from the Packers 34, Moss got behind Al Harris and QB Daunte Culpepper found him.

3. Thanksgiving Day, 1998 vs. Dallas - This game was the combination of his ridiculous speed and unworldly athleticism. Moss only had three catches, but they went for 163 yards and three touchdowns, each one more ridiculous than the previous one. Moss simply torches the entire Dallas Cowboys defense with his speed.

2. 2003 Week 7 vs. Denver - This is one of those moments where you saw what happened, but had to rewind and watch again and again. Randy Moss no looked lateraled to Moe Williams. It is just something that will never happen again like that. It looked effortless, yet wasn't and showed that Moss was a smart football player knowing the defense was going to collapse in on him allowing Williams to dash into the end zone as time expired in the first half.

1. 2004 "Straight Cash Homey" - This is one of those Randy Moss just being who he is moments. Granted that Randy has toned it down quite a bit from his playing days, but this is after the 'mooning' in Green Bay. Randy Moss was fined $10k for the stunt and when asked if he had written the check yet for the fine Moss responded as only he could:

KARE 11 reporter Dana Thiede: "Write the check yet, Randy?"

Moss: "When you're rich, you don't write checks."

Thiede: "If you don't write checks, how do you pay these guys?"

Moss: "Straight cash, homey."
