Missing St Cloud Boy Found Dead in Mississippi River
St Cloud, MN (KROC AM News) - A tragic ending in the search for a missing young St Cloud boy.
St Cloud police are reporting the body of 6 year old Hamza Elmi was found Friday morning in the Mississippi River.
The autistic boy was last seen around 8:30 Thursday night and he was reported missing by his family at 9 p.m. Police began an immediate search that continued through the night.
A scooter the boy had been using was found at the river around 8:30 Friday morning a few blocks from his home. His body was located about three hours later.
At this point, police do not suspect foul play.
