Between every road traveled, and every town and city visited, NOBODY traveled better than Minnesotan's for the Great American Eclipse on Monday, August 21st 2017.

It didn't matter where you went in Nebraska to watch the biggest celestial event in 99 years. Grand Island, Falls City, Crete, or Beatrice; the Great American Eclipse did NOT disappoint, despite a relentless onslaught of severe thunderstorms, frog-strangling rains, and brutal traffic snarls on I-80 between Des Moines and the zone of totality that crossed 'The Good Life' State.

Everywhere you roamed in Nebraska over the weekend, and especially on Sunday & Monday, our license plate was the most prominent. Hotel parking lots were jammed with Minnesota travelers. If you have family or friends in the 'Cornhusker State' just ask them, and they will tell you!

There are just too many astronomical, and personal viewing details to share here, so let me just say that this event on Monday August 21st 2017 has changed my life.

I'll say this in a 'tongue-in-cheek' manner. If you are human, and a citizen of planet Earth, you need to put a full solar eclipse on your 'bucket list' today! The next one in the US is 2024, just 7 years from now, so start your planning!
