I've recently converted to being an ALDI shopper. The prices are amazing, and they always seem to have some fun, random things to buy - including spicy ice cream. Sadly, I probably won't be buying ground beef there for a while.

You might remember reading about the USDA issuing a recall of over 66 tons of ground beef products from Cargill Meat Solutions. Now, the Food Safety and Inspection Service listed Minnesota ALDI stores as one of the many locations nationwide that received contaminated meat. Unfortunately, as of this writing they haven't said which Minnesota locations have been affected, but you may want to be cautious regardless.

Because trust me, you do not want to experience the side effects of E-coli, which include diarrhea, vomiting, and even death. Yeah, I might want to switch to chicken for a few weeks.

You can find the full list of affected products here.
