Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -  A man who is being sought by Olmsted County authorities for a series of crimes apparently isn’t fearful of being caught.

A patrol deputy spotted a suspicious vehicle in the driveway of a residence near the intersection of Highway 14 and 50th Ave SE around 10:00 PM Wednesday. The deputy followed the pickup truck when it left and tried to make a stop when the driver hit speeds of 75 mph. The driver refused to stop and led the deputy on a chase in rural eastern Olmsted County that lasted several miles.

The deputy ended the chase for safety reasons and it now appears more charges will be filed against 35-year-old James Minter, the suspected driver.

Minter led a county deputy on a chase last Sunday after fleeing the scene of a reported assault in Pleasant Grove Township. It was also learned the truck Minter was driving that day had been stolen from Waseca County.
