He's a ROCK-STAR, and he'll be here in Rochester, Minnesota on Monday!

The most famous accordion playing parody-singer in the world is coming to Rochester this coming Monday. Weird Al Yankovic has sold over 12 million albums and won 4 Grammy Awards for his hilarious remakes of classic hit songs. He'll be in Rochester for a special show at the Mayo Civic Center of April 2nd. Only a few single tickets remain, plus several wheelchair spots at last check. Contact the Mayo Civic Center Box Office or Ticketmaster to check on availability.

This will be a little different than previous Weird Al concert spectacles. Yankovic posted a message to his fans on Facebook that said: “We’re scaling way, way back. No costumes, no props, no video screens, no computer servers. We’re just going to walk out on stage, sit down on stools, and play a bunch of old songs. Oh, and we’re going to be performing almost exclusively originals (i.e. not parodies). The deep cuts and obscure tracks. The songs that were never hits. The ones you barely remember.”

Today, I'm appealing to YOU, the loyal Z-Rock faithful to suggest what Metal, or hard-rockin' song or artist you'd like to see & hear Weird Al parody in the future? Let us know via the Z-Rock Facebook Page and we'll compile a big-ass LIST! Rumor has it that Weird Al doesn't like to field suggestions for parodies from the fanbase. Ha! I say let's give him a list to ponder anyway! (USE HASHTAG: #WeirdAl )

Let's have some fun........SOUND OFF!
