Here’s Where To Get Clutch Beer In Rochester

If you're into stouts, you'll like it! A little while ago, we heard that Clutch was brewing their own brand of beer. Full disclosure: I'm not a fan of some stouts, but I'll always at least give them a taste (duh).

Here's what happened: My husband and I were making our beer run for the weekend, and we noticed that Andy's Liquors just off Wellner Drive NE was selling Clutch's beer! Of course, we purchased it immediately.

In case you're wondering what it tastes like, it's more than just a stout. You can literally sense and smell the wood it simmered in. New Belgian (who Clutch teamed up with on this) explains, "Black as night, this beer is blended at 70% stout, 30% dark sour wood beer for a collaboration that begins with a sour edge and finishes with a big, dark malt character, lingering, sweet on your palate."

Side note: you can taste a little bit of coffee flavor too. It's basically the best of what any metalhead looks for! It's a really good beer. It's also really dark, which is mine and my husbands' preference.
