Sitting by the window, staring out into the snow. It just keeps falling. But, in reality, it's kind of beautiful, isn't it? And inspiring. In fact, it inspired several of our on-air personalities to write Haiku poems about it. (Okay, I challenged them to write them. The snow just helped...)

For those of you who are not familiar with Haiku poems, the are short and simple in structure, with just three lines. The first line contains five syllables, the second line has seven syllables and then the third line returns to five syllables again. They are easy to write, but not always easy to write well. I have to admit, though, these are pretty good!

We hope you enjoy reading them as much as we all enjoyed writing them! And if you get inspired, write one of your own and send it to us via the form at the bottom of this page. If we get enough good ones, maybe we'll do a listener Haiku post.
