We're just two weeks out from the highly-anticipated release of Anthem of the Peaceful Army, the debut album from Greta Van Fleet. With "When the Curtain Falls," "Watching Over" and "Lover, Leaver" serving to tease the 10-track record, the band has shared another new song, "Anthem," which you can hear above.

This track is devoid of any harder-edged moments, driven by jangling Spaghetti-western acoustic guitars and the whimsical, teary-eyed croon of frontman Josh Kiszka. With it's easygoing sway, "Anthem" is a natural lighters-in-the-air song that should find the crowd singing along, joining the chorus of voices that fade in toward the end.

“We had all these songs we wrote three to five years ago that we were just going to put on the album. It very quickly became all new material, so I’d say about three-quarters of the songs are songs we wrote in the studio. It just happened very quickly, we got everything done in two weeks. We were aching to make this album," bassist Sam Kiszka told us in the Spring.

Anthem of the Peaceful Army was produced by The Rust Brothers (Marlon Young, Al Sutton and Herschel Boone) and was recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville, Tennessee and Rustbelt Studios in Royal Oak, Michigan. Look for the album to be released on Oct. 19 through Lava / Republic Records.
