Firefighters Rescue Dog Stuck On Cliff [Video]

Firefighters in California last week rescued a dog that got a little overzealous when chasing a squirrel.

The pup ended up stuck in a small crevice high above a highway and a beach in Santa Monica, Calif. Firefighters coaxed the dog out from the middle of a rock face, NBC4 News Los Angeles reported.

That leaves us to wonder exactly how the dog scaled such a steep cliff.

Regardless, this dog probably experienced an excellent view from his perch and was eventually returned safely to his owner. Everybody wins!
