If you've driven on I-35 anywhere near Faribault recently you've come across this wonderful construction project. To give you a brief run-down of what's happening, both the northbound and southbound sides are down to one lane and the project is to re-do some paving.

Now, if you've ever experienced construction like this you know that once the re-paving process starts, that means the side they are working on cannot be driven on. That's exactly what's about to happen on I-35 South. Yay.

Starting on Friday, southbound drivers will be redirected across the median to the northbound side. Yep, people going north and people going south will be on the same side of the highway.

This is bound to cause some major headaches because there are going to be so many people who freak out over the fact that they have to go over the median and drive so close to everyone going the other way. I get it but at the same time that doesn't mean you have to drive 5 mph (it's like I've experienced this before or something).

Long story short, maybe try to avoid I-35 for a while if possible. Or if you have to take I-35 then be safe and stay calm, I don't want to hear about you getting in trouble for having road rage!
