Don Shelby will be the keynote speaker at the 3rd Annual Red Carpet Recovery Gala, an annual event to support Recovery Is Happening.
Don Shelby has spent 37 years living a life in long term recovery. He has been a reporter and television anchor for 55 years.

The mission of Recovery Is Happening (RIH) is to mobilize and develop resources that enhance long-term recovery from substance use issues through education, advocacy, and peer support.
All proceeds will benefit the expansion of our peer recovery specialist team. We are hiring 4 full time recovery specialists to be staffed in our communities highly impacted systems. These areas include child welfare, criminal justice, emergency rooms and treatment centers. This will allow us to serve the needs of our community's citizens who are, and have been impacted by substance use challenges
