I've never met anyone who was swayed either way by an actor's or athlete's political ramblings for one candidate or another, or for one cause or another, and this letter sums it up for most Americans. Honestly, it's annoying. Especially when you do it at an awards show. You know, the ones where you pat yourselves on the back and give yourselves trophies 3 or 4 times a year talking about your "art" and your "craft" all the while, living in your 20 million dollar mansions in your tiny Hollywood bubble, never having to worry about where your next meal is going to come from or if you're going to be able to make your house/rent payment. You are completely out of touch with most Americans.

I read a great quote from somebody on Reddit that NAILED exactly what I and many others wanted to say. It starts out:

"Dear Hollywood celebrities and "so called professional athletes ",

You exist for my entertainment. Some of you are great eye candy. Some of you can deliver a line with such conviction that you bring tears to my eyes. Some of you can scare the crap out of me. Others make me laugh. But you all have one thing in common, you only have a place in my world to entertain me. That’s it."

You can read the rest of this great quote HERE. It's definitely a MUST read and should be required reading for anyone aspiring to be an actor, actress or sports figure.
