Byron,MN  (KROC AM News) - The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an unusual residential burglary in Byron.

The burglary was reported Thursday from a home in the 200 block of 6th St NE. The homeowner says the break-in occurred between noon and 3 p.m.

The homeowner says miscellaneous items worth around $500 were taken, including a laptop, costume jewelry, some perfume and... a plant. Yes, that's right. One of the items listed as stolen was a plant. No more information was given on what kind of plant was taken.

There was no sign of forced entry.
