It was at the beginning of the month I told you about a new bar getting ready to open in Downtown Rochester. Read that blog here. There's been a big move, an important step, toward the opening. Last Monday the Rochester City Council approved their liquor license. Apparently, it had been all good to go, but then with delayed starts, etc, the approval needed to be re-upped.

And that's the news for now. I would like to point out some info I found...

What'll they serve? Well, on their Facebook page is mostly empty with a few curious reviews. But they have selected a type of business...

Cocktail Bar · Beer Bar · Wine Bar

Their website says, "Bitter and Pour is here. A cozy, intimate setting tucked away on Historic 3rd Street. REspecting your palate since like...right now.

That's about it, website wise, except your invited to share with your friends, and that could earn you free cocktails. There's been talk of small plated appetizers, but no confirmation on that.
