Benefit To Be Held For Lost Minnesota Metal Icon

We heard the sad news earlier this week, and now something is being done about it.

The metal world in Minnesota is still mourning the loss of the influential and kind Chad Hanks of American Head Charge. Hanks co-founded the group and was best known as their bassist.

Only those closest to him knew of his cancer battle in recent months. We all know what a bitch cancer can be. Now, something is being done to help.

An event page on Facebook explains a benefit and memorial will be held on November 26th in Minneapolis. They detail, "Proceeds [from this benefit] will go towards Chad’s final expenses. Any remaining donations will be given to charities in Chad's name."

The benefit includes TONS of memorabilia and performances from Blue Felix, Black, Flood Diesel, The Omega Sequence, Outside The Murder, Strate Jak It, and Aaron Zilch.
