You guys remember Banger Films and Sam Dunn from Metal: A Headbanger's Journey, and Global Metal, right? They are some of my favorite documentaries of all time!

This group of awesome Canadian metalheads just covered another key moment in metal, right in their home city of Toronto. Yep, you guessed it! They were on hand for Metallica's special show in Toronto last night! In case you missed it the Toronto Star described the gig as, "a charity show at Toronto’s Opera House, an intimate 950-capacity venue." Proceeds went on to benefit the Daily Bread Food Bank. That meant an intimate setting, and a really cool opportunity for fans to witness something Metallica hasn't done a whole lot of in their career.

The night started out with Samm hanging with excited metalheads outside the venue.

Then, we saw the whammy.... Samm announced on Banger's Facebook page that an interview would soon be coming.

It just doesn't get better than that, folks! We'll keep you updated on that interview, and share it here. No word on what the setlist was, yet. If it was anything like the show at US Bank Stadium, it was a nice mix of old and new! Stay tuned!
