Josina Anderson of ESPN is reporting that Adrian Peterson will attend the Vikings OTAs that begin today. Peterson has missed all offseason team activities up until this point.

Peterson told ESPN, "I'm returning because I want to. I'm a part of this football team and I owe it to the guys I play with and to our coaches. I was planning on coming in this week, and I'm looking forward to getting back on the field. It's what I love to do."

Adrian's future with the team is still uncertain though. The running back still wants the Vikings to up his guarantees. It's not clear if the team will cave to his demands. A trade doesn't seem likely at this point though. During an interview on May 4th  Vikings general manager Rick Spielman said, "He's under contract with us and we are not trading Adrian Peterson."
