Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an accidental shooting that could have had tragic consequences.

Capt. Scott Behrns says it happened Tuesday afternoon inside a residence at the Hallmark Terrace Mobile Home Park located along 55th St NW.

Deputies determined a 28 year-old man had accidentally discharged a shotgun and the buckshot went through a wall and some of the pellets stuck a nearby mobile home. There were two women inside at the time but they were not hurt.

Behrns says another man was with the one who had the gun. He says criminal charges are possible.
