I mean, what could possibly go wrong?

Nothing would make me feel any manlier than wielding an axe in front of my friends or wife in an attempt to hit a target 10+ feet away, just like in the olden days... shoot, it sure beats a game of bad minton, am I right?!

Well according to an article from Go MN News, the folks at Bad Axe Throwing want to bring all the fun and excitement of just that to our own backyard.

Turns out they started a chain of axe throwing outlets in Canada three years ago and now they have 16 North American locations, with the nearest one in Chicago.

Now, there are plans to bring another one to the Land of 10,000 Lakes next. Here's what they're all about:

Our mission is to bring the thrill of a traditional Canadian backyard pastime to urban communities. With the help of our talented axe throwing coaches, hundreds of thousands of people have been able to share our passion for throwing axes. We pride ourselves in delivering outstanding customer service to all of our clients whether it's for walk-ins, private parties and team building events.

The target market they're aiming at is groups headed out for a birthday celebration, corporate outing, bachelor/ette party, or other event.

Don't worry about going out and purchasing your own axe, as Bad Axe Throwing provides all the necessary equipment and a professional instructor to get people started with the right technique.

General costs are $35 to $45 per person to throw for any of the events mentioned above.

Oh, and in case you love it enough to start your own team, they also have leagues that last eight weeks for 15 bucks a week!

If you wanna learn more about these guys, and what this all looks like in real-time action, be sure and watch all the videos they've posted on social media. You can follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
