When it comes to Minnesota breweries, I say the more the merrier. We’ve seen a lot of new local brewpubs opening up in the past several years – including here in Rochester. I’m a big fan of this trend myself, because I love both showing my Minnesota Pride and drinking beer at the same time.

In cool news, Minnesota is getting a new brewery up in Minneapolis, and it has a unique spin: La Doña Cervecerìa is the first Latino-owned beer company in Minnesota, and they’ll soon be opening their first taproom this summer. As someone who has had more than his fair share of Coronas and Pacificos in one lifetime, I'm very interested trying similar beers with a Minnesota twist.

No word on an official opening date, but you can get a taste of what's coming on their website. Also? That logo is sweet.
